Each Hub is made up of academic institutions and hospitals with different specialties, from the public and private sectors.
Countries
The first countries where Innovation and Validation Hubs are being developed are
- Argentina
- Brazil
- and Spain.
The next stage includes:
- Germany
- France
- Mexico
- UK
- and US
Aims
One of the aims of the Innovation and Validation Hubs is to help health tech companies and startups with successful solutions to deploy and commercialize their technologies in new countries. The companies that access the Hubs are those whose technology has already been validated in their home country and has clinical and user evidence. This validation process also contributes to innovation and the improvement of the technology level which each country can have access to. The Hubs help to promote technology transfer and internationalization, and to expand or strengthen the ecosystem among continents.
Activities
The Innovation and Validation Hubs put technologies into use, carry out pilots and generate academic reports on validation process results, considering the adaptation of such technology to the local health sector. In addition, the report issued by the Hub can help health tech companies in their softlanding, local partner search and fundraising processes.
